I won an auction on eBay and got a fabulous deal. The seller sent me a tracking number and I've been keeping an eye on it since last week, but today's tracking update totally stumps me the package appears to be going back to the sender without having reached me at all!
Why did it get to Massachusetts (where I am) then go back to New Jersey and then back to Florida where it originated? I have never seen this sort of behavior before. I have emailed the seller to see if she knows what's going on. I called USPS and they were totally unhelpful, unable to give a reason for this and stating that they could only "make a note" of a problem after 14 days have passed.
Is there some way the sender could have intentionally routed the package to get returned to her to avoid getting it to me? It's nothing expensive, just a brand new pair of boots that I got for a great price.
