I am having a little trouble with my new Macbook keyboard.

I bought it in Italy, and changed the language to English. However I can`t seem to change (customize) the punctuation. Actually most of the punctuation on the keys is wrong for its function; the question mark and comma key gives me a hyphen. I`ve tried International in settings but there seems to be no possibility to modify them. Is this correct? I have no idea how to get the email `at` symbol, either...
Please help a newb.
Thanks.

Go to  -> System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu and select only the keyboard layout that you intend to use. If you're American, you're probably expecting to use the U.S. layout.
