I am buying a Macbook Pro for college prior to going. In Missouri, we have a tax free weekend that applies to a lot of things for school shopping, including computers. I was just wondering, because some businesses may choose to not participate, if anyone knew if Apple would be participating. I would figure they would, but I'm not sure. I have looked around online and have not found anything that points to them not participating, but I was seeing if anyone has experienced this anywhere else.

might be worth going to the State's site.

In TN for example, retailers have NO choice. They must participate.

Also, even though it is not for business, retailers are not allowed to ask.

rules vary from state to state. What another state is doing has ZERO to do with another.

Local news reports say it applies to online purchases, so I don't see why Apple would be exempt.
