iPod Upgrade reviously purchased movies to extras?

With movie extras just coming out, I feel really bad that I have to pay a huge price for previously owned movies again. As I have a huge library, there is no way I am going to buy these again.
Will itunes allow us to pay a small upgrade price eventually?
