So now that iTunes 9 allows you to have the “browser” open in a left column or a top pane, the question is, which do you prefer? I’m inclined to go with the top, but that may just be because I’m used to it. I’m going to give the side browser a try, although I’m adding an “Album” column. Plus, I think since monitors are going widescreen now, it’s best to take advantage of horizontal space rather than crowding vertically. That’s why I moved my dock to the side rather than the bottom too.

What’s your take?

I prefer it on the left side. I have a widescreen monitor with plenty of horizontal screen real estate. It was a clever touch to give users the option for a more widescreen-friendly layout.
