Hello there, i downloaded a program called vuze and it installed a toolbar to safari and im wondering how to get rid of it. Usually you are supposed to go to your applications folder then find the toolbar folder and uninstall it. I just took the folder and dragged it to the trash and resetted safari but the toolbar didn't go away. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

A search provided this -

As for the toolbar, first reinstall Vuze from a freshly downloaded copy. Then uninstall the Ask toolbar, which I think you can do from the Remove Applications in the Control Panel. The reinstalling may seem pointless but it will update certain Ask dll files which were causing issues for some people. I believe that should sort out the your problem.

Delete the app, and go to Library/preferences and delete the vuze plist file too.

very simple on mac osx

After mistakenly installing Vuze freaking toolbar..

just open Applications and under that will be a folder named: Toolbar

After clicking there will be a sub folder named: Vuze

Hit uninstall And your done.

It will re-launch safari and uninstall the toolbar automatically!!

Hope will will be a help for future users
