does my cycles seem excessive for being a few weeks old?

I actually created an excel document, and I am plotting out the cycles and capacities. Every month, i'll add new data to the spreadsheet and update the graph. Great way for a trend analysis on the battery.

I've only owned this for 4 days and it's already at 97% :( What should I do?

Look in you instruction book on how to calibrate your battery...

By calibrating mine fairly regularly, this is the result I get after owning my MB for about 7 months...

My Battery keeps getting lower.
I use it when it's plugged in, goes down
use it when it's not plugged in, goes down
turn off my computer, goes down
calibrate it, goes down
WTF

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but we are on the subject of max battery capacity.

Ok i have just had my battery replaced under apple care for my Late 2008 MBP. It already has some charge on the new battery. Now do i put that in my laptop, run that down until flat or connect the ac to it and charge then run it down?

Wow you guys dont use your macs at all!!!

Check this out for my first generation macbook air. This is how a computer is suppose to be used!! and thats how a well maintained mac looks like in terms of battery life. Thats why you don't bother with user removable batteries because apple does a good job with their batteries already.

Thank you,
AE

I, uh, clearly need a new battery. . .

Yeah, my battery is toast. I'm waiting just two more months so I can upgrade to a MBP 13".

Wow my battery is failing. I've been trying to calibrate all week to see if I can get some more life out of it, if that's even possible.

I think what they do is include a little extra few mAh's in the battery than what the stated original capacity is...

43 month old computer, 1 week old battery :p
