The first one is related to your graphics card.
The second is related to Safari, Safari is highly unlikely to cause a kernel panic. It looks more like a RAM issue to me.

Given that it's a MacBook and doesn't have a dedicated video card, my guess is that you've got bad RAM.

The first one is related to the GMAX3100 graphics chip. What were you doing when that panic happened?

What 3rd party apps do you have installed that use the graphics ?

The second panic seems like a frame buffer overload since it doesn't show a backtrace. Perhaps you were doing too much multi-tasking with graphics at the time?

How much memory is installed ?

I have got 1Gb memmory installed
The first one i just opened up a flash movie and i got the kernel panic . then closed the computer then try restarting at boot the kernel panic came up.. closed the computer again turned it on . and all was well

the second i believe i was just surfing the internet normally with a few tabs opened . facebook, soccernet.com, gmail, and a few others.

i have done a lot of test using thrid party software rember and have used apple care tech tool. all results were fine.. done 15 loops on the rember ram test.

it wont matter as long as it is the correct type. Upgrade to 2GB or 4GB Ram and you should have no issues. Its clearly a memory issue, because of the intergrated graphics and the fact you have so little memory. Add more memory, and update your system and you should be fine

If the RAM is from Apple, then it's much less likely that it's bad and is causing the kernel panics. If it's 3rd party RAM, then that likelihood goes up a bit.
Even the "correct type" of RAM can be problematic. Macs are notoriously picky about RAM and even the high-priced RAM (crucial) can turn out to be bad after time.
And finally, that Mac only supports 2GB of RAM according to Apple, and 3GB according to external sources. So I wouldn't bother spending the money for anything above 2GB really.

I would find out first if it's 3rd party RAM or not. If it's not, then you might want to look at alternatives to the issue. However, unless this is a chronic problem, as in happening more than once a month with constant use, I would just ignore it.

Kernel panics aren't the end of the world.

Ram is ram is ram is ram... I could go blue in the face saying it... There is no difference between what Apple puts in the MacBook from the factory to what you put in "aftermarket", except the price. As long as it is the type for that model, then it is fine. Also, that model should support 4GB stable. A newer MacBook could support 6GB, but that model should support 4GB and still be stable. 6GB would cause panic.

Get 2x1GB of what ever you have (DDR2 800Mhz for example) or the 4GB if you want.

It's the amount of RAM. Or the lack of the amount of ram..A lot of page faults happen because of not enough RAM. But as another poster said kernel panics don't always mean there's something wrong with your computer.

Go for the 2X2 sticks if that model can take 4GB. They're cheap and with integrated graphics the more RAM the better the OS will run.

I might not understand fully how panics are trapped internally, but it seems interesting that I would have a similar log for a different application (iTunes in my case). Might have been a OS subroutine that was called - still, why would a trap happen at the same address? Could it be a bad CPU instruction due to a bad compile in Mac OS?

I recently upgraded my MacMini (2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2007/08 series) to 2x2Gigs CAS4 RAM from OWC. Suspecting a RAM problem myself I have now exchanged that RAM against another new set, but the Kernel panics continue. They happen about 2-3 times a week, with my Mini being on almost 24/7. Random applications are caught. After trying all troubleshooting advice I could find online (short of reinstalling my OS), I'm at the end of my ropes. Apple Hardware test and Rember find nothing wrong.
At this time I more suspect a software issue - the RAM exchange might have coincidentally happened in the same timeframe.

Any more ideas from enlightened forum members?
vthenry hadn't touched the RAM when getting the panics, so it seems unlikely that it just went bad all of a sudden. The idea of him not having enough RAM might look different now that I experience similar panics with maxed out RAM.
