PowerBook G4 Energy Saver Options Gone

Hi,

I replaced the battery in my PowerBook yesterday, before I got the new battery I was running the laptop without a battery.

Anyway, I put the new one in and now the battery icon is gone from the menu bar and the laptop options have gone from System Prefs.

Is there a way to reset this?

I have reset the PRAM and PMU as well as repaired permissions.
