Get any Windows netbook to sync your iPad with. If it won't sync with your 10.4.11 G5 then you should sue Apple. JMHO. Itunes runs on XP, Vista, Win7.On the Apple website the list OS 10.5.8 minimum system requirements for the iPad?
Planning to buy an iPad, but not if it won't "play nice" with my G5 10.4.11.
Ideas - Comments (up grade G5 depletes funds for iPad and G5 runs great)

Duh. I guess if a netbook was needed then the OP might save money by just buying a netbook and skipping the iPad. If he still has his original 10.4.11 discs he might be able to install them on the netbook. Two problems with that solution: first, it's more costly than upgrading to Leopard; second, it requires a move to Windows (at least in part), which the OP might not want to do.
I find it extremely ironic Apple supports the last three versions of Windows and NOT every 10.anything version of OS-X. I guess they know where their real sales numbers come from.
10.5.8 still runs on a PPC (G5), so all you need is an upgrade to Leopard 10.5.
Is 10.5.x still available? Where would I find it and what should I expect to pay for it?
it going to be hard to find if you want to buy it.
How else would I get it? Someone have a copy laying around?
