Ok so after reading countless forums, ive decided to create my own, I have a 14 inch ibook g4 1.42 ghz. That will not boot, the charger lights up green on the tip, but when I press the power button nothing happens so...
I pulled the battery and same issue,
So I replaced the MOBO and still same issue, green light on charger and nothing on the laptop.
So I thought it was the switch, so I jumped the switch by touching both ends on the board together with no boot, so i tried to jump it from the switch as well still nothing.
So Im down to a new DJ jack or charger and unfortunately i don't have either.
Ive read somewhere that the dc jack is functional when the charger glows green, and ive heard that the green light means that the charger is functional.
Im so lost here I have no idea where to go to next.
Btw b 4 n e one says it i have reset the power management multiple times.
