MobileMe Calendars, To Dos

I haven't visited the MobileMe site in a while, and noticed there is a To Do section for the Calendar. Does this mean we can now sync our To Dos from iCal to MobileMe?

Also, are there APIs now available for us to sync vtodo files to the iPhone via MobileMe?
