I have developed an iPad app called "Side by Side", and I would like to recommend it to you.

It divides the iPad screen into up to 4 parts as big as an iPhone. In each part you can browse webs, take notes, download and read files.

I like it because in many cases you just need the iPhone size screen, for examples, browsing news headlines, checking facebook or email updates, writing a short paragraph, chatting on IM. With this app you can keep an eye on several things at the same time.

Besides splitting the screen, it has a lot of interesting features, e.g.
1. Format a webpage into text only mode
2. A one-tap downloading mode
3. Create a new note directly from pasteboard
4. Resize panels easily
5. Search notes, bookmarks and file names
6. Add stars to favorite files
7. Add bookmarks in files
8. Fast scroll for long files
9. Change the color of each window
10. Standard sharing features like "Open In", email files out.
And so on.

I have also employed a special technology so that many websites will appear in the cool iPhone style. So even in the small window they can fit well and you don't need to scroll left and right all the time.

An introduction video can be found at:

looks like a great app....i'll definitely give it a try.

Trying it out and it's pretty good so far. There is one little issue. When you want to email a note that came from clipboard, the mail app opens in landscape if iPad is in landscape position. However, if you want to email a note written by user, mail app only opens in portrait even of iPad is in landscape position.

Would be a complete winner for me if actual mail app could be opened.

I like the idea behind the app. Thanks for letting us know it is free for the next few days. I'm going to give it a try.

Thanks for using the app!
Sorry that I just saw this message, while my 2.0 update is already sent to App Store for review. It is not possible to open another app inside one app. But I can definitely enable the landscape (or full screen) mail composer. I will make this change in the next version.

Is there a way to set things up so that when i click on a link in one window it opens up in another window?
