I have a file with 159 folders and am looking for a way to display all the folders on a screen then take a screenshot of the screen and e-mail it.

You mean you have one folder with 159 files, don't you?
And you want them to display like in Windows Explorer with its List view, I guess?

Your assumptions are correct.

Hmm, I don't know of a way though, I just tested Path Finder an MuCommander, Finder alternatives, and they don't offer that function.
Then I also opened a folder with 300+ files, selected all and copied them, but as there were Safari Webpage previews, I could import them into Text Edit only as images. But Finder has that little Clipboard viewer (Edit > Show Clipboard), where I could see all the file names, but again as List view and not in columns and I couldn't select that list or print it somehow.

The other idea I had, would be to make multiple screen shots of every view and add them together.

Example:
View 1 - file 1 to 40
View 2 - file 50 to 99
View 3 - file 100 to 149
...

It's more work, but it can be done.

You can create a bigger image for Preview to work via opening a big image and using that as background.

Taking screenshots in Mac OS X.
