when connecting tv with mindisplay port-DVI adapter then to HDMI...do I get sound?

Hi-
I looked through Mroogle and still am a bit confused.

I am planning to connect my Sony LCD to my 2010 mbp 13". I understand that I need to purchase a minidisplayport to DVI adapter AND a DVI to HDMI cable that will ultimately hook up to the tv.

The part that is confusing me is: do I need another separate cable to obtain sounds? if so what kind of cables and how do i plug that? Thanks.

You will require one of the brand new macbook pro's tho

Otherwise you'll be barking up the wrong tree..only the 2010 mbp's are capable of audio output via mdp.
