its an iphone 3g. it also overheats so much that i can't hold it comfortably at any time, even when idle it's as hot as a newly baked brick. its most definitely an hardware problem but not battery, I replaced that.. same issue. any ideas on what is the culprit? I don't want to go to an apple service because I'm almost sure they will want to replace the motherboard. instead I have an option to replace chips on mobo, any ideas on which to look at? (out of warranty by far)
