Okay this is my first post on here, ive been a PC guy all my life and just got a ibook for free from a friend and id like to upgrade the RAM and Harddrive on it, My question is whats the Max RAM i can install on it and How big of a HD can i put on it? Ive looked this up but im getting so many models that its kinda hard to figure out. At the moment im installing MAC OS X 10.4.6

thanks! :)

I think its just a usable limit. I believe you can put in a 320gb even and still use the hard drive. However, only 128gb of it.

yes you could even fit a 750gb harddrive inside as long as its a p-ata (ide)
but for data safety it should be formated in a just below 128 gb partition and in a free space of the rest
