If you don't own a copy of Pages, Numbers, or Keynote for the iPad you may not know that a significant upgrade was made to these apps on 9/22/2010.

They now support their Windows Office counterparts and can be uploaded and downloaded to your iDisk if you subscribe to MobileMe.

BTW, does anybody have a virgin copy of "Getting Started.pages" Maybe you could make it available on your iDisk public folder. Thanks so much. Got it!

I have virgin copies of the Numbers and Keynote "Getting Started" files at

There is a restore button for the getting started pages in the settings. So happy, finally we cam use iDisk for something useful. Weird it was not included in the first release.

I'm so glad that they finally included a word count feature in Pages - it was the one thing that held me off from buying it. BTW, is there a suite deal (i.e. cheaper to buy all three as a package, rather than independantly)? And if so, can I still get the deal even if I've bought Pages already (like you can complete albums on iTunes after buying a song or two)?

None of the play nice with 4.2 for me. Now I can not import pictures from my saved photo library? :( worked with 4.2 prior to the updates. Oh well.

Does the new version of Pages allow text editing in landscape mode? (with the on screen keyboard)

Thank You, Thank You
