What Sound System would you recommend?

Best bet is to look in the Digital Audio forums, lots of recommendations. I have the Harmon Kardon's and they are really good -- worth the slight bump in price.
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1
I use the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and they are just fantastic, whenever I have people over in my office and I'm playing music the first question they ask is "What Kind of Speakers do you Have?", I've had a half dozen friends in the last few years go and buy their own set.
They aren't real cheap but aren't hella expensive either... and are easily worth the price, IMO.
