I used to be part of Ultimate-Guitar, but its nothing but 14 year olds being 14 year olds there.

Honestly this is the smartest, nicest, and best discussion forum I've ever been a part of. That's why its my main, and at this point, only one I frequent, as you can tell from my post count:eek:

Speaking of which... what's the code below the username mean (macrumors 601)?

I do have to agree with the "smartest, nicest, and best" part.

Apparently it has to do with post count, which has NOTHING to do with quality (before someone bitches at me). The numbers correspond to the processors Apple has used throughout the years.

It's a forum populated mostly by former members of the forums of Richard Dawkins' website.

I used to be a member of the Dawkins site. Unfortunately, I must have gotten there right when it was shutting down.

I just registered and am waiting for my confirmation email.

It took me three tries to finally get the CAPTCHA right. Those things are getting waaay to hard to decipher.

I'm on the TrekBBS' political and social issue forum, entitled (appropriately enough) The Neutral Zone.

You might think that Star Trek fans would be in nearly 100% agreement on politics and religion. You'd be wrong.

http://volokh.com/ - mainly because I learn so much there, its good to find a forum where you are guaranteed to find someone who knows a helluva lot more than yourself. Be warned, that is mostly aimed towards lawyers and the like. Like any other profession, its fun to watch them at times come up with completely different positions on the same subject.

A few very liberal sites I will not mention, always fun. Same goes for them as the above, you would be amazed what flips out of some people and how they can disagree on subjects I can't seem to understand how they disagree. I do post on dkos and dunc - but that last one is rabid and hate filled at times (never use an email you cannot afford to be slammed) I do read and post to one conservative site but it bores me a bit.

I'm on forums.overclockers.co.uk

It helped me build my custom gaming computer.

I love my macbook, but it just could'nt handle microsoft flight simulator X well enough in bootcamp.

I spent less on my gaming pc than a mac mini!:D

Well, before I switched to Mac, i was (still am) an avid PC Hardware enthusiast/overclocker, so I frequent this Indian PC/Overclocking forum:

TechEnclave

The other other forum I frequent semi-regularly, is an Incubus fan forum, one of the first I ever joined and actually participated in.

Incubus View

I was a Moderator at Deux Quatre Sept (run by these guys). It used to be very active, and quite popular but since shut down after the main honcho moved and got busier. I'm a member of a whole bunch of other forums but hardly ever, ever check in.

Don't see why this thread needed to be in PRSI as long as it is just about web sites.

Moved to the general Community Discussion Forum.

So is this like where we all clap for your first Mod edit thingie?

Well done. Well done. :D
