Recently, YouTube freezes and causes my browser to shutdown. I've tried it with both Safari and Firefox. This is the only time they do this. Is there any fix to this problem?

Reinstall Flash or use the HTML5 option with YouTube.

A more descriptive and precise thread title will help cater to the right audience and get you more responses. (see rule #3 under Minor Problems)
To edit your thread title, just click on the

button on the bottom right of your original post and then click the "Go Advanced" button below your message.

Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times?

EXAMPLE: Browser (Safari and FF) freeze when watching YouTube

Yes. I'm actually fairly sure it's anything with flash, because an ad popped up on a different site and the rainbow wheel showed up. I've have this computer for 2.5 years and it has never been like this. Tomorrow morning I'm going to make a new user and see if the same thing happens on that one.
