Hi
When do you think the first 1TB 9mm will arrive on the marked?
The 12,5mm 1TB has been here for quite a while.
And in what price range? Same as current WD 1TB 12,5mm?

Hard to say, it could happen at any time. I doubt that drives at that price range are popular enough to be at the top of manufacturers' priority lists, especially since SSDs are becoming cheaper and cheaper

Nice input on that manufacturing priority list
I'll properly go right away for a 500GB Hitachi for my mid 2010 13 MBP, as it's Apple's manufacturing standard and therefore 100% compatible :D

There is 750GB Western Digital if you're interested. It's fully compatible and fits in any MBP. Plus, the 1TB WD will fit into your MBP as it can take 12.5mm drives

Okay, i actually didn't know that it fitted, but it cost more than double as the Hitachi 500GB, I don't need 1TB (it would be nice though :p), it uses more power and i know Apple uses the Hitachi already
