iOS i have question about notification in OS 4.0

i have question about notification in OS 4.0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i am using iphone with 3.3.
and i can receive notification service.

But Client is using iphone with 4.0.
and They can't receive notification service.

What should i have to?

if i want to use notification service in os 4.0, am i have to change something?
