Anyone successfully exchanged a new sealed replacemnt 3GS for a iPhone 4 (paying the difference) in store? Obviously no reciept. I'm guessing no but these things will sometimes vary case by case.

i dunno if this is still going on, but if you go to radio shack they will basically buy your phone from you.

I brought my 3G in and they gave me 100$ off the iphone 4....so i walked out the door with a 4 for 100$.

Yeah, I'm not looking to extend my contract though. I could do a similar thing selling it on ebay. The phone will not be a refurb it will be brand new. I'll take it in, can't hurt to ask. Either way I'm happy since I had a 3G before. Ever since the 4.0 and 4.1 updates my phone has been useless. It may not be a iPhone 4 but at least it will work again. Can't complain about a free upgrade :)
