sbs settings and backgrounder activation wont work with Cydia app

Im using an iphone 4 with 4.0.

while Cydia is the open app:

I used to be able to do a "short hold" to disable backgrounding and the app would close. Once i noticed that that stopped working i changed to every known option activation method and nothing seems to work.

I also discovered that the sbs swipe left or right doesnt work.

anyone know how to fix this?
 
That's because the developer of Activator has disable Activator in Cydia. It's been discussed before. Use MRoogle to search for "Cydia won't background".
