backing up a directory that is bigger than a dvd?

i have a directory with many sub directories and files.
I cant back it up to a dvd without breaking it up, but thats way to alkward.

Is there an app that will allow me to just create a backup of the entire directory, over 2 dvds if necessary without requiring me to split the directory in two?
