Anyone with a US POSTAL SERVICE (USPS) FAN here?

USPS employees only: Do you also get the discount off the DATA portion of your bill? I am referring ONLY to the NEW 200MB or 2GB PLANS!

I don't care if you get a discount on a different company's fan or a discount off the UNLIMITED plan which is no longer available, don't really want to hear about that.

My USPS rep says yes AT&T says no. Be a month before my first bill. I know some FAN accounts do get data discounts and some don't. Just curious.

Hi, I'm actually an AT&T Rep in NYC

If you have the unlimited data ($30) ... You get a discount. If you have a 2GB ($25) or 200MB ($15) Data Plan ... You do not get a discount

Interesting, especially since the $30 plan is no longer available. I guess I might have to try to use the "loophole" posted here to get the unlimited plan.

i have the usps discount with the unlimited data plan it comes down to about 22ish a month for unlimited data which is a much better deal then the 2gb ones
 
this is not true. i get the discount on the 2 gig plan. it only doesn't work on the 200 mb plan. so it's 18.75 for the 2 gigs.
 
Just to add to this thread:

If you have any FAN where you are getting at least 20% off data, it's stupid to try to go down to the $15 200MB data plan.

Like I get a 24% FAN discount even on data. So I really only pay $22.70 for my $30 unlimited data plan. As opposed paying $19 for a $25 2GB limited data plan. And really stupid to pay $15 for 200MB that does not even qualify for a data discount regardless if you have a FAN.

It's not stupid if you don't need more than 200MB a month and know the value of a hard-earned dollar. :rolleyes:

Are you on the US Postal Service FAN? If so I'll obviously go to the 2gig plan because even though I rarely use more the 200MB I have to be very careful not to go over. For the $3.75 it's worth it.
