has anyone gotten Drobo FS to work on OS 10.4.11 Tiger?

I need to update but I need to dump everything and make room before I can.

Drobo FS used to say it worked with 10.4.11 and now the website changed to say 10.5+

Anyone know if there is a way to make it work with 10.4.11?
 
i only have 4 gb of free space and filevault installed. There a million reports of trouble with upgrading from 10.4.11 with file vault and I don't have enough room to take it off before upgrading...
