I have two 2tb firewire HDs currently connected to my 27" iMac. I noticed this on one of the websites my company ordered from, and I wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on it.

Thoughts?

So you're looking for other people's thoughts on experiences with this HD?

That's NAT solution which is slower than FireWire (unless you use wired connection). Why do you even need a new one? You already have 2x2TB

I am kinda piggy backing the two HDs I currently have, and I want to go with a RAID 0 type of setup, if I understand it correctly.

My current setup is:

I have a Belkin USB/FW hub connected to my iMac via USB & FW cables. Both HDs are FW, so they are both connected to the hub, which in turn shows both HDs on my desktop.

I want to clean up the area a little. Its a lot of wires showing when I have two HDs connected to the hub, plus a couple of USB cables as well. I figured maybe going with something that can be expanded would be the better way to go.
