Probably not so much the 2010s themselves as them being the first Macs to use the 64bit kernal out the box. Because after a year of no issues with Steermouse, this happens:

Code:

Hi there, Steermouse.

Anyone else had issues? The KP itself happened when I switched my KVM back to the MP. So I'm also curious if anyone has had problems with KVMs sans-Steermouse.

EDIT: Interesting. The 2010 MP's kernel shows it was built ~15 hours AFTER they were announced. I guess they did want to punch them out with the iMacs.

Are you using your machine as a new user, or from a backup? That might be an issue... Create a new temporary account and see if there are issues on that account.

And/or perhaps you should delete and reinstall a new version downloaded from their site?

I've used it on my '08 MP and '10 MBP i7 with zero issues.
