3.2.2 was never designed to have these things.

Is this the first you've heard about the iPad? Surely you are not serious with these questions.
As other have said 3.2.2 is the current release. 4.2 is a beta available to developers and is scheduled to be available to all users in November.
Maybe you can elaborate a bit more than just posting a completely innocuous statement.
