After researching and finding out that using the iphone without the 40.00 450 minute min voice plan was impossible unless you were legally deaf... I wanted to see if I can save money another way. So I was wondering if this setup would work...

The above link is a mifi Novatel 2372. I guess it is supposed to takes ATT's 3g network in and allow up to 5 devices to use it.
Im thinking about selling my iPhone and getting one of the new iPod touches, or for the meantime, use my iPad in conjunction with the TextFree app. I have recently gotten into a beta which also allows me to place calls, so unlimited texting and very affordable calling via Pinger's services would save me a but load of money.
