eMac 1.25 GHz classic

I just picked up a 1.25 GHz eMac yesterday to run classic but it came with no CD's and a fresh install of tiger. I thought that I could use the Mac OS 9 installation CD's that came with my friends Powermac 997 MHz quicksilver, but it isn't letting me boot off of that CD. So I was wondering how to install it with this disk, if possible?
