I have installed medialink but when I come to start it it comes up with the following error:

MediaLink could not start because port 1900 or 9386 is in use. Please quit any application that may be using these ports, wait a few minutes and try again.

What does this mean and how can I get it to work??

Thank you:confused:

Open up your terminal application and do the following:

cat /etc/services | grep 1900
cat /etc/services | grep 9386

This will tell you what ports pertaining to 1900 are open and what is using it.

iGrid?

I tried the 1900 command and got this:

ssdp 1900/udp # SSDP
ssdp 1900/tcp # SSDP
igrid 19000/tcp # iGrid Server
igrid 19000/udp # iGrid Server
# 19001-19190 Unassigned

What is iGrid Server?
