Hello, well I was tired of waiting for it to charge off my new Mac Mini (about 1% every 30 minutes) and decided to pull out the AC plug for it. Wow, seriously, in the last 20 minutes, it went from 20% to 40%...

Now, do you think it would hurt it if I used a USB splitter to connect it to both the AC and the Mac Mini? Its a pain in the ass to get to the plugs, and I only have one Apple dock cable

I don't think you can do that. Either way, it won't charge faster than it does on AC power.

EDIT - I misunderstood, although I still don't know if you can do that.
