Just received my ip4 case from these guy's. Case is awesome. Stainless steel. The machining is excellent. I am one of those that hasn't experienced any death-grip problems using any case so I was again pleasantly surprised when I installed this case and everything worked perfectly. It came well package USP mail. Ordered on Sat Oct 2nd and received today the 7th. $39 shipped is really a great deal considering some of the junk out there. If you are one of the fortunate one's like me and haven't had any reception problems and like the design, I would jump on it. :) Enjoy
 
nice, pics pls =) i love to see some nice close ups..its really slick.....what color did you get?
 
I have a black one coming, hopefully its not too bulky. I'm still disappointed that my Vapor case dropped the signal just enough to where I was missing calls.
 
It looks like something uncomfortable to hold in the hand, and especially uncomfortable in ones pants pocket. Is it?

I have had the Karas case for a week now and have no issues puttign it in or taking it our of my pocket nor while its there.

As for holding that may be different for everyone as to the feel they require.

i've using using it for a few weeks now.

I was almost going with Alumacase and Vapor...but after reading all the problems with them....i'm so glad that i chose this one !
 
How could it possibly have signal issues with it's completely opened all around the antenna band?! :rolleyes:
 
When i had mine it affected me signal/wifi/3g.

I would put the case on, have people text me, i wouldnt get texts, then i would take the case off and immeditly get all the texted that never came though. Also while in my house, about 50% of the time i couldnt connect to 3g with the case on. When i took the case off it connects 100% of the time.

Wins the award for widest devision of opinions. Seems to me it's about 50-50 those who like it to those who hate it.

I own one, so I like it $40 worth.;)

You might be surprised. I just completed a review of the Exo 6 (will post URL in the exovault review thread shortly) which is also open almost entirely, apart from the corners, and it absolutely obliterated my signal. Now to be fair, I do my testing at home where I get mediocre reception - 3 or 4 bars on a really good day...but the video will show 3 bars 3g with no case drops immediately to 1 bar edge with the case on - so yes, its perfectly possible to hose up reception, even with the antenna band exposed :p

To be fair:
This case would prob. degrade about 5db in signal strength at most (ex: -90db to
-95db)... Quite acceptable for me.

may be true...but really really cool none the less :D

too bad Vapor has such crappy signal problem , that was my first choice.


ps as a bonus : now my ip4 is also a lethal weapon if needed :D:D:D
