I use my (non-jailbroken) iPhone 4 to take notes for my classes, with the assistance of a bluetooth keyboard. For the past 7 weeks, it's been working just fine. I open notes, create a new note, type what I need, click done, go to the home screen (and disconnect the keyboard). In the last three weeks however, I've encountered 4 instances where I've added on to existing notes, followed the same operation previously mentioned, and the note doesn't save the changes. Just this evening I added on to a note, and when I went to the application a few minutes ago, the new notes I added were there for a moment, and then disappeared, reverting to how it was before I made additions to it. I should mention that this disappearing act was accompanied by a rotating progress wheel on the top of the screen. I've tried finding an explanation and repair for this, but I'm not getting any help. Recommendations that I uncheck "sync notes" in itunes are futile, as I did NOT have this on in the first place. Is there any way to retrieve these lost notes? How can I prevent this in the future? How much can I sue apple for?

But in all seriousness, what is going on here?
