3G network not working

Hey guys

I have a small issue here:
I have a jailbroken iphone 3gs 16gb 4.0.1 firmware but its 3G network doesnt work for some reason - I tried using SBsettings for that.
On the other hand, my brother has the same iphone which was jailbroken the same way using jailbreak me but his 3G network DOES work.

What could be the problem here?
