Can't run 720p without lag, just me?

Hey,

Some videos in 720p run laggy on my late '09 MacBook white (9400), in my eyes that seems... pathetic? Videos such as this, is the graphics card really that S***?

I'm beginning to want a PC... :rolleyes:

It plays fine on my 2007 iMac with a C2D 2GHz CPU and an ATI GPU.
As this is Flash related, have you updated your Flash version and tried again?


Also have a look at Activity Monitor ( Applications / Utilities / ) and select All Processes and sort by CPU to see what the culprit may be.

On my MacBook they're fine. Maybe it's something to do with your version of Flash player.
 
2.1 macbook 2008 with crappy intel x3100 runs it fine i think its your internet

You either have a very crappy ISP, or something in your MB is failing on you like the video card or something. I have the exact same model MB as you late 09 C2D 2.26GHz, 2 GB's ram and 720p HD video runs smooth as it should run on $1000 machine. Hope you got Apple Care.
