Video chat from my IP4 to a Computer?

I travel too much for work, and love to speak to my young son on the PC webcam....

But i would love to have the option to use my IP4, while he is at the computer.

Is there anything out there yet for IP4?


I read that Yahoo will soon have this so thats good - just wondering if anything currently exists..

My son is 5- no touch for him yet! And my laptop does have a webcam and I do video with him on it- but I was asking about iPhone to pc- not pc to pc- anyway it's all good - I will just wait for the yahoo app. Thanks guys
 
If you have a JB phone, you can.

I know that cuts off a lot of the population. It WAS in the app store than it was pulled for some reason.

I can successfully chat from my i4 to a mac/pc using iMovicha.

JB phones:
go into cydia and download it.

PC/MAC:
go to movicha.com and download the client.

This allows video chat from iPhone, Android and soon BB to eachother and PC/MAC's.

Yahoo just updated their app. I havnt had a chance to try it yet, but it looks like you can do video calls now.

I just tried it from my iphone 4 to my friends yahoo installed on a mbp but wouldnt let me video call. Not sure if there is something special i needed to do
 
FYI
Yahoo for iOS only has Video call to iOS, Android and Windows PC
No love for Mac:mad:
 
Fring says it communicates with AIM, which MobileMe logs into, but it doesn't look like the Video button works on AIM users. You should be able to Fring video with someone logged into Google Chat on a Mac or PC with a webcam who has video chatting through Google. I have used my Gmail acct to webcam on my iMac but have not tried using Fring to connect to one of those contacts yet. Any tried that?

you friend needs to have the latest YM installed on his pc V10.XX- I'd the same issue..

Currently the video chat only works from an iPhone/iPod touch (w/FaceTime) to Yahoo Messenger on a Windows computer, their is no compatibility for Macs yet, last time i checked.
