On ATT and want to downgrade baseband

At all possible?

I have shshs saved on cydia... If I downgrade to 4.0.1, will that downgrade my baseband?

Although I don't need an unlock, somehow I feel the need to preserve my baseband to 1.59.

Would love to know...

Once you go off 1.59, you never go back.

Unless you have a 3G phone with the 5.08 bootloader you can't downgrade. If you have a 3G use f0recast to id your bootloader.

Excuse me....but the only iPhone that could have a 1.59 baseband version is the iPhone 4.

S-
