iOS how to show moving/swinging rope hanging from tree

I am little new to iphone development.
I want to show animation about a hanging tree branch and monkey swinging with it, going places.

Any ideas. I tried drawing line periodically but it looks very primitive!! Any suggestions, examples appreciated.
