More Powered USB Ports

Hi

My Macbook Pro obviously has only two USB ports, but I need more fully powered ones!

My current USB hub despite being powered is intermittent.

Is there a good, well recommended powered USB hub I can plug into my Macbook Pro and have my external HDD, iPad, iPhone etc all pugged into charging nicely?

Any help appreciated, thanks.
 
Ok so there might not be the one USB hub which everyone loves. But if you have a powered USB hub which has never let you down and keeps all your things powered up, let me know please!
