Sleep/standby light problem

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 13" and have just noticed that the standby/sleep light seems to have a few 'pixels' or diodes that do not work which makes the light look like its halved. Has anyone else had this problem and should I return it and demand a new one, as i only purchased it on Sunday.

Well, its all one LED that powers the sleep light. Could you take a picture of the light one and post it?
 
i dont have my camera handy atm but its exactly the same as this picture that i found and have attatched

Ill have a look online see if there are any similar problems. Thanks for the quick response and help though
