Unjailbreak Iphone 2g

I unlocked my iPhone 2g last June to use it outside US. I used redsnow. I have not installed any apps from cydia or done any customization offered by jailbreak. can I unjailbreak by restoring from itunes 10? Will restore delete data on my ipone? If so, can I use a recent backup? Will it have any trace of jailbreaking? If you can point or provide step by step instructions to restore it will be helpful. Thanks
