I currently have a 15" non-unibody Macbook Pro with a 40 gig SSD in the regular bay, and a 500 gig Seagate Momentus in an Optibay. I'm about to get a newer 15" unibody Pro and want to keep my drive setup intact.

As far as I can tell, the only difference between the optibay for non-unibody macs and unibody macs is the connector, so I called MCE Tech to see if it would be possible to just get the unibody connector and they told me that my only option is to buy a new Optibay. I didn't have a good experience buying from them in the first place, so I'm definitely not going to buy from them. Do any of you know a way around buying a different optibay? Are there alternative connectors I could use in the one I already have?
