I just purchased my iPhone 4 today, and I want to know about jailbreaking options as well as warentity voiding.

I was under the impression that you could do a DFU restore and go into a behaviorscan and you do not get flagged from prior third party apps, but I was really concerned with what would make my iPhone worth jailbreaking.

It depends on what firmware is on your iphone. 4.0/4.0.1 can use jailbreakme.com. There is no jb for 4.0.2. 4.1 can use limera1n or greenpois0n.

Warranty voiding is solved by restoring the phone to stock, unaltered firmware.

@hackthatphone

how sure are you that the warrenty voiding issue is solved?

Because I wanna jailbreak my iPhone but if I have an issue with it, I don't wanna be outta warrenty
