When using handsfree, iPhone4 mic is still active

This means that when using the headphones to take a call, if the phone is in my pocket, the person at the other end can hear all the noises that the phone mic picks up as the phone rustles around. So eventhough they can hear me via the headphones mic, they can hear all this other noise as well :mad:

Thoughts?
 
I have the same issue, I thought it was a function of using the Shure Music Phone Adaptor, but maybe it is something with the phone itself. What headphones are you using?

Can anyone help. Don't mind resetting and restoring but would prefer not to as lots of little things always get screwed around with.
