The new Pwnage tool vs upgrading with tinyumbrella and itunes?

Hello people of the iphone world. After trying to upgrade my Iphone 4 from 4.00 to 4.1 several times I have finally manged to make it a few days ago using greenPoison RC4. The first attempts sucked - no Facetime, no 3g data, no GPS and more bad things. Now currently everything is working fine and then comes this new Pwnage tool...?

Can someone please tell me the difference between upgrading using the "no baseband upgrade with tinyUmbrella" VS this new Pwnage tool? Should I use it? what are the benefits?
I'm not that smart about it and english is not my native language so please if possible make it simple.

Everything is working leave it alone. Only the IP4 can keep the old baseband with TU. For those on other models of phone Pwnage tool allow them to keep the old baseband and upgrade and still be able to unlock. All of the tools are using the same exploit. What is different about pwnage tool is that the Firmware is Jailbroken before it is installed as opposed to after.
