Macbook pro 17 inch bottom casing dent

Hi guys, I have a 17"inch 2006-08 macbook pro with a big dent in the bottom casing where the dvd drive is. Can I order this part and replace it myself??
 
I think you can order it from ifixit, but it won't be cheap, and it will be pretty hard to replace, I think you pretty much have to take the computer completely apart and put it back together.
